I am a native Oregonian. Married with two children. My son is a 1st Lt. in the USMC.My daughter is still in college, getting her MA . Started modeling when I was 11, but have taken several breaks as life got in the way. Love to model 1/48 Spitfires and other a/c flown by the British in WWII. Also enjoy building and flying RC kits

I built this kit earlier this year. Eduard's kit is the best Hellcat out there. My kit was actually the F6F-3 Weekend Edition, but I traded for the decals and added an Ultracast seat. Mixed the paint using Tamiya colors.
