You know the problem of those never finished box-queens, kits that you start and then put back in the box and forget about? They beckon you every time you open your stash, yet you just ignore them and go for a virgin kit. Well, I have a [...]
Going through old photos and came up with this Hasegawa kit I did over 10 years ago. It was sold to a fellow modeler or I would have taken updated photos. Model represents an aircraft piloted by Oblt. Siegfried Schell, Staffelkapitan of [...]
Here’s my Hasegawa Saab J-35 Draken. I’ve always liked the lines of this aircraft ever since I found and built the old Revell kit when I was a kid.
A typically nice Hasegawa kit and because of the design of the aircraft, a pretty easy [...]
Second one off the bench for 2022, and my 24th P-40 build. I may have a P-40 addiction from which there is no known cure. Just like this old war horse which saw action in just about every theater with most Allied air forces. [...]

This F-14 model is the third part in a small series of five Tomcats that I am building in 1/144, 1/72 and 1/48 scale. The history of Grumman's spectacular carrier fighter is rich enough in variations and stories that there is room for five [...]
This is a 50 year old kit but it holds up pretty well. It has raised panel lines but they were easily re-scrible. Decals are a bit thick but are nice none the less.

After the P-40K, my dad has already finished the next bird in 2022.
Revell boxing of the Hasegawa F4U-7 kit, decals from MDC(Model Design Constructions) and the kit, wheels from Reskit, camo done with Gunze H54 Navy Blue mixed with a touch [...]
