HK Models 1/32 B-17G – the Big one!
So far so good - but time consuming to pick out all those parts and paint individually. Hopefully some of the work is seen after I close up the fuselage!
B-17G at Chino
The B-17G finally flew in to Chino yesterday. Here are some shots, including one of me holding it in front of another famus Boeing product, that will give you a good idea of just how big it is.

Went out to Chino yesterday and when I got there, it was a 10/10 cloud cover at around 3,000 feet and flat light prevailed. Welcome to the world of airplane photography...

Big B-17G finished!
The big H-K B-17G in my driveway. Better shots tomorrow out at Chino. The gun barrels are not installed (not doing that till it gets to its new home, learned my lesson with the big B-25).

So, how big is big? This is the H-K B-17G hanging in its storage area on the wall, next to a 1/48 Tamiya Lancaster. Those of you who have the 1/48 :Lanc in your collection think of it as a big model, yes? Not so much here!
