This is the fourth model I built, and after doing three aircraft, I was in the mood to do a warship. The big Revel 1/72 scale U-boat kit was fairly new at the time, and I was eager to see what I could do with it. The kit is absolutely fantastic.
One of my first jets was this re-release of Revell's F-84G. Was a real treat to build, parts fit extremely well and this model required no putty at all. Built OOB and the only thing I added were belts. If you like decals this is the kit for you,[...]
Back in the 60's and early 70's it wasn't uncommon to drive through rural airports and come across an ex-Military aircraft on the tarmack. After WWII you could buy one. And many were bought and flown to airports all over the country.

I built this a few years ago, it's still one of my favourites.
This is the old Revell kit, from 1990. I built it several years ago, and recently got around to photographing her at the airport. I did use an aftermarket decal set, the SuperScaleInternational set 48-346. It's pretty much built OOB, with jus[...]
This is my most recent completion: the little Revell Voodoo in 1/72 scale finished in the colors of 444FIS.

Babylon 5 kind of grew on me slowly. I was not really impressed by the First season (the lead was and is a Charisma free Zone) but when they "brought in the Bruce" the show really took off.
This is the Revell Starfury (HORRIBLE kit -Which is why[...]
Built from the Monogram/Revell kit. Lot's of fit issues with much filling, sanding, re-scribing. Managed to lose 2 of the guns inside during construction. Got lots of dust in the glass nose from all the sanding. When I attempted to tap the nose [...]
This is the Revell boxing of the Hasegawa 1/48 Henschel Hs129B-2 kit, featuring the North African option (Blue O). Built OOB with tape belts and painted with Modelmaster enamels.
The colours are RLM 79/80 over RLM 65 as the plane was an overpain[...]
