What do you do the day after you get a tooth pulled?… You build a crazy build!
So on Wednesday a got a molar pulled because I cracked it. That meant spending the rest of the day in bed. Next day I still couldn’t talk, so I stayed home. Feeling kind of sick of being in bed, at around 9 a.m. took out a bagged Ju-87 Stuka Tank buster (Hobby Craft) kit I got on eBay (it was really cheap but my wife doesn’t understand why I need to have 3 or 4 of the same kind, I know but I forgot) a while back. Got the rocket pods from an Mi-24 (hoping on doing that one modernize with Hellfire missiles), a P-51 Mustang drop tank and drilled out sprue bits and cannon barrels (did that before the codeine kicked in). I know it looks crazy but it’s kind of cool and I finished it at around 7:30 p.m. It’s speed modeling! Any how, sorry about the canopy. I know it came out kid of crappy (did that after the codeine kicked in). Will finish it up with Spanish Ejercito del Aire roundels since I did the white rudder with the black cross (again, did that before the codeine). Will call it “Protector de Melilla”. Hope everyone likes it, or at least got a good laugh out of the story. In any case, enjoy! 😁

Depends on how much codeine they give me! 😁

Roberto, an interesting build, and “Yes”, I like it !.
What I find most intriguing is, I think that might actually work !

Thanks for your support! I know I’m not an artistic person to say the least. But modeling gives me a chance to step out and do something different.

At the end of the war in Europe, several German planes flew into Spain, who then took over the airplanes. You don’t hear too much about that, there was one four engined that was used into the 50s, until the parts ran out.

Not only that, but Franco’s Spain was pretty much Nazi Germany’s better client state. They built variations of the Me 109 (called HA-1112) well in to the 50′. They flew until 1965!

Roberto … this one really has me wondering … What if ?
Roberto Silva Cuevas said on February 20, 2017
This is what I do… Look at an aircraft’s historical period. Imagine F-16s flying for I.I.A.F because the Islamic Revolution was put down by the Shah!

Wow – hate to be on the pointy end of that thing!!

Not to brag, but I love the way the drilled out cannons came out! 💪

Roberto – very nice! I could work on one all YEAR & not come out this well!
I agree – the drilled out cannons came out great. I love those long barreled guns!

Thank you Sir! I’m glad you liked it. Next in the pipeline… a captured J2M3 but in USMC colors. I got the idea from an actual Ki-61 captured in Okinawa known as Yontan Tony (follow the link http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/f/1040/3/0 )
