Tamiya 1/48 P-51B from early 2013
Aires cockpit, Squadron canopy, CAM decals, some improvements on several details with plastic sheet, copper wires, steel needles and photo etched items from Eduard. Painted with Humbrol, Model Master and Polly Scale. And if I remember well I swapped the drop tanks with the D kit.
First Mustang on a series of three I did that year.

I have to say I've been blown away by the standards of build on this site recently. There has been an exceptional (well, in my opinion) batch of models that have been characterised by clean lines, beautiful painting, great markings, and terrific photography.
This gorgeous pony typifies those builds. I love this, Ruben.
Muy bien hecho y muchas gracias!

1/48? Holy man, that is a piece of work partner! Thats a scale I wont mess with because it's way too detailed. Nice work.

Very nice Mustang, looks like a solid build. Some planes you just have to build more than 1 model, and the p-51 is one of them

Ruben, an old classic scheme, made really well !, and you can't have too many Mustangs !. I like this one a lot !

Excellent indeed... I remember building the old Monogram kit with these markings many years ago as a kid...
Well done Sir ! Two thumbs up...

Howdy,
Did you make the canopy rails as well?! Very cool!

I agree with David on this one. I've posted my build of this same kit (different color scheme, though), and mine doesn't compare. This is museum quality work. Really remarkable stuff here, Ruben, as always with your work.
