Rogue Squadron Bandai Speeders
I wanted to share my latest project, a pair of 1/48th Bandai Snowspeeders. These were a quick build I completed on Christmas vacation. They are finished with Vallejo model air paint and weathered using
Tamiya pastels and black Tamiya panel liner.
The display base is clear resin tinted blue and cast in a Woodland Scenics "rock face" mold. It was then glued to a piece of styrene and finished with a couple snow products from Vallejo and Woodland Scenics.
Nicely finished, detailed and weathered (if there's any 'weather' out there - 🙂 )
These are atmospheric vehicle not spacecraft, so they definitely be exposed to "weather" .
However, the fun thing about building sci-fi models is there is no right or wrong just however you want to do it.
🙂 … Greetings … 🙂 :
Nice work on these Casey … I an having a good time just watching them.
I can't get over how nice the Ban Dai Star Wars kits are! (Except for the seam they decided to put right though the middle of R2-D2's head!) Looks like you didn't have any trouble adapting yours to the cold!
Nicely done!
Just wodeful. You nailed this scene.
Those look awesome! Pretty cool dude, they look like they could have been used in the movie!
love your paint work Casey - looks like "well-used" brace of speeders. Excellent!
Thanks Greg! Hows the airbrushing going for you?
Nice !
Great looking speeder, Casey! Luke would be proud.
