A Pair of Pint-Sized Pioneer Ponies
Second & Third completion for 2021. The ubiquitous Sweet Mustangs in 1/144. This project was primarily an exercise in oil weathering, in particular, MiG Oilbrushers. Overall, I’m pleased with the results. Gunze-Sangyo paints, stretched sprue antenna, etc.

James, excellent results with these pint sized ponies, especially around the greenhouses, and with the weathering technique. I’ve never heard of this brand, but the surface detail looks really fine and petite (nice) for the scale. Liked!

Good looking work on these two, much so when one takes upon
consideration the scale, great modeling James.

Those are great looking ponies, James.
Hard to believe they are only 1/144!

Incredible results, James.
They look a lot bigger than 1/144.
Compliments all over.

Very impressive job James, I canβt imagine getting that kind of detail on something so small. My eyes hurt just thinking about it!

Amazing models, James, definitely liked. We have a good of selection of scales in headlines at the moment.

Man, you must have a superpower, like microscope vision. 1/72 is hard enough. Next – superdetailing the 1/350 planes on carrier models!

Fantastic work for 144! Easily passable as 1/72. Well done.
