Hasegawa, 1:32 scale, Curtiss P-40K-1-Cu, "Warhawk"
Calling this, DONE!
1st LT Robert Johnson 'Jay' Overcash, 64th FS/57th FG, based at Hadi Main AB, Tunisia, May 1943.
A little quirky with all the silly plugs and adapters to fit in it, but a really good model and was a bit of fun to build. Very enjoyable and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a big scale P-40 for their collection.
Model is painted is USAAC Desert Sand over Neutral Grey. I used Tamiya and Vallejo Acrylics for the paint, Flory Washes, pastel chalks and AK Weathering Pencils for weathering. Infini Scale Line for the aerial, True Details resin weighted tires, a brass gunsight and seat harness and finally, Barracuda Studios Decals.

Lovely looking aircraft Frederick
Great looking P40, Frederick @fjs3
Painting and weathering is beautifully done.
Oooooooo that's a lovely P-40 Frederick. As John says weathering and paint finish are superb.
Nice job on your P-40, Frederick. Looks awesome!
Excellent P-40, Frederick!
Nice job, Frederick. That kit is one of a handful of 1/32 kits I kept after the great stash downsize of 2021.
Excellent P-40 build.
I really like the paintwork. That "desert sand" color is hard to get right - your looks perfect with the weathering.
Love the desert P-40s! This looks awesome, great job.Tom @tcinla is rite, that desert tan is definitely a hard color to get correct, you nailed it. Great job.
Wow I was STUNG by the beauty of this one.
A real beauty! Desert schemes are one of my favorite and you pulled this off well.
Looks superb!
