RAF P-47s
Not totally oddball but 2 1/48 P-47s that served with the 73OTU in Fayid, Egypt,1945. The razorback was a Monogram kit and the bubbletop was Academy. Decals by LPS Decals "British Thunderbolts" and Iliad Decals "RAF Thunderbolts"

Nice builds, George, but the Jug just somehow doesn't "look right" in any other markings - at least to ME. 🙂
Thanks Craig. I've always said that about the Spitfire. Having said that, I finished an N1K "George" a bit ago with American stars and it looks pretty spiffy

Your Thunderbolts look great ! I really like how they look with roundel markings in place of stars. It's different from what I'm used to seeing. Great job.
