Hello, I've been making models since the mid 1960s. It was mainly Airfix 1/72nd aircraft then. I have fond memories of the Airfix Spitfire, Hudson & B-17 to name but a few. I started work in 1971 and modelling took a back seat for a while. When I got married in the mid 1970s, I drifted back into making models. While still making Airfix kits, I also built some of the then new Matchbox kits. I thought Matchbox made some very unusual subjects, which I enjoyed building. When the kids came along, modelling was put aside one more time. But not for long, I soon started making models once again. This time I progressed to an airbrush and compressor. I mainly make 1/48th scale aircraft with an occasional armoured vehicle. Regards, Julian.
