MPM Heinkel He 177

Finally finished! MPM 1/48th He 177. Not an easy build but ultimately worthwhile i think. I hope the forthcoming Special Hobby re-release addresses at least some of the fit issues.

Dragon 1/48 Ju 88G-1 Mistel

There is never a shortage in Luftwaffe topics with eye catching adaptations and color schemes. Here is a Ju 88G-1 Mistel variant from Dragon. The aircraft depicted here was captured by the Americans without the piloting aircraft attached. [...]

Sabre/Fury GB: Academy 1/48 F86 Sabre, HAF 341 squadron

Finally I was able to finish my entry of the Sabre/Fury groupbuild, the Academy F86 Sabre in 1/48 scale. Last year I received this amazing gift from Spiros @fiveten when he and his wonderful family visited the Netherlands. It was a great [...]

Bristol Beaufort mk.I Airfix 1/72

(link) This build was one of my fav, togeather with Airfix Wellington. All fits with only minor issues (main gear flaps need a little sanding in montage pins)! Very Fun Build! As usual I used aftermarket decals to make 489 RNZAF squadron, [...]

Revell/Monogram 1/48 P-61 Black Widow

A challenging oldie model that combines considerable amount of detail and the crude Monogram mold. Eduard exterior set helped to shift the balance from the crude plastic to the fine details.

Tamiya 1/48 scale Fairey Swordfish Mk. I

Tamiya 1/32 F4C

There has probably been more misinformation published on 64-0829 than almost any other Phantom. I have tried to build this jet as it may have looked on the 30th March 1967 when the then Col. Robin Olds led a low level strike against the [...]

Trumpeter 1/24 Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6

Trumpeter's big Bf 109G-6 is a mixed bag. It boasts with accurate outlines and a detailed surface texture. Yet, there are many inaccuracies concerning the position of hatches and panel lines. Nonetheless, these can be located and fixed [...]
