Oh the Humanity! A 1 1/2 year hurricane.

The disaster was unexpected, power full machines thrown about with disregard. It was the 1 1/2 year old Hurricane Anthony. Don't let your eyes off of one! Repairs are already underway.

F4U-1D - Corsair - VF84

Dear Modellers, Here is my version of the 1/32 Corsair F4U-1D. It took me 10 months to build it. I spent a lot of time building the cockpit and engine. I used this time a lot of products from ANYZ and the belts are from HGW models. I used [...]

Roden 1/48 IDF OV-1D Mohawk

The two Mohawk aircraft that served in the IDF endured less than 8 years in service before being returned to the US. Both particular aircraft are displayed in aviation museums. Roden's Mohawk is a difficult kit to build. It requires [...]

Hellas Hurricane

This has been in my stash for around fifteen years, so with the immanent arrival of the Arma kit, I decided to dig it out and have a go. What a great experience, said here before just how much I love the 1990's era Hasegawa 1:48 WWII kits, [...]

Surrender...1/48 Mitsubishi A6M3 Type 22, IJN/RNZAF

Besides all the US naval stuff by my dad, he decided to turn Japanese a bit. New Eduard kit, a bit over-engineered, lots of detail but also many small plastic and PE parts. Fuselage to wing fit had some tension and needed work. Engine [...]

Trumpeter 1/32 Allison V-1710

Allison, a Division of General Motors, began developing the ethylene glycol-cooled V-1710 in 1929, in order to meet a USAAC need for a modern 1,000 hp (750 kW) engine to fit into a new generation of streamlined bombers and fighters. The [...]

Fine Molds Bf-109

This was a nice little build. The kit went together like the proverbial shake n bake kits from Tamiya. The Finnish markings are a nice change of pace. I think I’ll look for another one to make the green and black camo version too.
