OH-58D Kiowa Warrior – Kuwait International Airport – Desert Storm 1991

This is the Academy 1/35 OH-58D Kiowa Warrior. This was probably the hardest helicopter model I have ever built. It has excellent detail and comes with excellent weapons. I added wiring to the aft cabin avionics LRUs. This model is part of [...]

Jeepers!

Built this one about ten or so years ago. As always, I started out with the intention of a quick build but the next thing you know, it just got away from me. The trailer is an old Italeri piece that had been sitting in a spares box since [...]

Italeri 1/35 M-24 Chaffee (Backdated)

Had this kit laying in the stash for quite a while. Saw the movie "Bridge at Remagen" and got inspired to build it. Funny, two months after I built this, Bronco announces it is releasing an early version Chaffee. The Italeri [...]

Just to prove I do build.....

My man cave was too clean so here it is with the Dragon 1/350th Livermore kit in progress. I plan on building it as the USS Wilkes performing convoy and ASW work in the Atlantic. Also the first shelf set up with models on it, and my [...]

Mr. Churchill’s tank…AFV Club 1/35 Infantry escort….

After TONS of fiddling I'm calling this done (except of course for the commander figure I'm still fooling with). AFV Club's Churchill namesake is a great kit. When I saw the boxart of this new release, festooned with spare track link [...]

Light tank MC-1the first Soviet. 1:35.

This vignette 5 years, I think. Company model AER Moldova, very crude and inaccurate. But then, it's just I was not paying attention))) Mechanic - tank crewman of a set of ICM. So, Russia, the end of the 20s, somewhere on the dirt road ...

OK, Mr. Foster, I'll "Verse" ya with my Buetpanzer....

Built this number on accounna I liked the colors in the captured camo scheme. It's the 1/72 Emhar Mk. IV "Male" on my 5-minute western front. That's my backyard in the distance. The 1/35 in on sale at my LHS. Hmmmm BTW I like [...]

1/35 Tamiya M1A1 with mineplow

1/35 Tamiya M10 Tank Destroyer

I had alot of fun with this one! The reddish mud is a little stark, but I always liked the sharp contrast. I tried a lttle color modulation on this one, It turned out okay. All you plane guys hatin' me yet?
