Airfix Spitfire Mk XII in 1/48 scale

This is Airfix's recent kit release which I built shortly after it hit the shops. It's pretty much out of the box, but a couple of points made me a little reluctant to post images. I felt that the belly tank detracted from the profile [...]

Some of my past models.part 1.

Hi all... I just joined, so thought I'd show you some of my work. All I do is 1/48. Thanks for looking. First knew is a Special Hobby Martin Maryland in French and British colours. Fun as, to build.:) Paul

New Revell 1/48 Stearman completed

Hello all: First of all, many thanks to Jim Sullivan for enhancing the photos you see here. I just completed this build. What a beautiful model. I wrapped it up in less than 2 weeks. I added lap belts from Eduard. The model is rigged [...]

AA 1/48 F-7E (Chinese fighter)

This was a crude kit, but little flash and not much putty work. The price was right (on sale), and I was fairly pleased with the build. The quality was that of a early 80's kit, that is to say, simple, with not much detail. At first I [...]

Modeling on vacation-the Arizona experience

Just flew in from Tucson, Arizona, and boy, are my arms tired. Went out there to visit my brother and his wife, and of course, had to find a way to work models into it. Can't survive a week without the glue, as you all well know. My [...]

1/48th scale SAS jeep

I thought I show you another little goodie I worked on, this time in 1/48th scale. It is the Willies Jeep, with a Black Dog conversion set. Mostly an exercise in painting and detailing, with a base sculpted by a friend of mine. Enjoy !
