1:72 Kinetic F-16D

Nice little kit albeit a shrunk down version of Kintetic's 1:48 early version complete with the 'droop snoot' nose error :( She is finished a a plane from the Royal Moroccan Air Force I think I use Tamiya acrylics on this and the decals were [...]

Nosing around, and a tale of two engines….

Boba is almost ready to see "The Force Awakens", but in the meantime he has a couple pints of "Bad Santa" from my home state of Oregon (Go Ducks, beat TCU in the Alamo Bowl!!!!) and is trying to sort out Kinetics poor nose landing gear strut, as[...]

Kinetic 1/48th BAe Sea Harrier FA.2

There just something great about the Harrier and such a shame they taken out of service far too early. Still there good kits released of this classic British aircraft and Kinetics' 1/48th Sea Harrier FA.2 is a very good kit eventually. End prod[...]

Gearing up…..

The COD saga moves on. Boba Fett is excited about the new Star Wars movie, but is "standing" firm on his COD build! This installment is landing gear. Kinetics is adequate, but not quite right. You can see from the pictures I took on my last [...]

Product news – Kinetic

In Telford, Kinetic has been showing their forthcoming kit releases. These include, among other items, a 1/24 scale P-47D Razorback. There were also seemingly almost complete sets of sprues for 1/48 Super Etendard and a Sukhoi Su-33 Flanker D.

This Photos are of my recent build , i enjoyed this build. Kit; Kinetics 1/32 Resin; Avionix cockpit Paints ; Alclad 4 different shades Decals; Superscale (old) I used the stars, instead of the plane kill marks Hope you enjoy Kelly.

Well I haven't posted in a while, I got moved (finally) back to day shift, and in the meantime I have been plugging away at my C-2. One of the first things I did was get the shape of the APU exhaust opening the right shape, Kinetic has it close[...]

Bobba tries to climb in…

Just about done with the C-2 pit, added everything I could think of and remember including the handle we used to manually pump up the brakes (seen on the back of the copilots seat) and the "thunderstorm lights above the cockpit door. Speaking o[...]

Gentlemen take your seats……The C-2 build continues

The seats in the Kinetic C-2 are pretty, well, poor. I only used the headrests, which I still modified quite a bit. The new ones are scratch built using pictures I took in Bahrain while on Det in VRC 30 (A gallery of my C-2A pictures is availa[...]
