Hi All!
One may hazard a guess from the Mig-3 and Yak-9 I built from ICM, that all of their kits are, well (I'll be nice) not up to modern standards. That is not true. ICM's twin-stage Merlin Spitfire series was the best on the market [...]
Here you can see Tamiyas M48 model in 1/35 scale. Whoever builds this tank gets a lot of tank for their money. A quick and easy to build model. I can really recommend him.
Granted this older Tamiya kit has some issues, but it still makes an attractive build. This also presented an opportunity to practice airbrushing camo and mottle free-hand while trying to avoid a major mishap.

Received this amazing kit as a Christmas present from my good friend Spiros @fiveten. Together we started a groupbuild of a P51 and A36 which ended up in a group with lots of enthusiastic members taking part as well. A lot of techniques [...]
This is a kit that is a joy to build, yes, even the canopy.
I wanted to do it as a Mk.1a and chose a scheme from 217 Squadron, RAF Luqa in 1942.
