Airfix Ju87 Stuka from the Battle of Britain (1:48 scale)
This is part two of my new series on the Battle of Britain (which has just started with part 1 - the Spitfire - in the new edition of Model Airplane International, out now). This is the superb Airfix Ju87 B-1 Stuka, built as an aircraft from 7./St.G 51, based in France during the summer of 1940.
Beautiful and flawless work as usual Allan. What paint maker have you used here?
Thanks Pedro, Gunze as always!

the mark of a true artist is that his work is instantly recognizable without any labels or authors names attached. you are one of those Alan. always inspiring work. you be well
Just like you, Roger. Definitely right.
Thanks Roger!
Nicely done Alan, the Stuka has always been one of my favorites. I'd really like to build one of the navalized variants with the folding wings.

Superb.
Beautiful work as always, Alan.
Thanks Tom, much appreciated!
great job Alan, 80th anniversary of BOB this year!
Thanks Paul, it is - that's what the series is for.
Nicely done Alan, did you use a aftermarket mask for all the glass? That much glass to mask by hand would drive me crazy.
Thanks Tom, no all masked using Tamiya masking tape and a sharp blade. Inside and out, to get the effect of the interior framing. I almost always do my own canopy masking.
Great paint work, very nice indeed ?
She's lovely! Well done.
Really impressive! Congrats!
Thanks to everyone for the nice comments - its much appreciated!
love your work
