I have been interested in the building aspect of model making. I love building dirty trucks that look used. Show trucks are great to look at but built-to-look used is what does it for me. I've been building trucks since 2011. Before that I've been building modern military vehicles since 2002. Must say that truck building is fun and nicer on the eyes, if you old chaps know what I mean.
The thought process behind this build was simple. This is what the subject title entails. An old soon-to-be retired anti-gravity fuel/maintenance anti-gravity barge that service large spaceships that enters within an atmosphere.
First of all, I must say that the Italeri, UH-60/MH-60 BLACK HAWK 'night raid' 1/48 scale kit, sucked big time. Maybe it was my bad luck but the fittings has one of the worst fittings I have ever experienced. Not only that, but the [...]
Ok guys. Here is stage 3. As you can see, since stage 2 was posted sometime ago, I've added a scratch built steel truss with an overhead crane. The overhead crane is a kit from Walthers. Yes, it is a HO scale railroad kit. But within the [...]
Ok. Here we go, again, guys. The diorama. It looks complete but it is not. I still have to include the overhead crane, a couple more details, corrugated sidings at both ends with some details, and a welder figure. But so far, things are [...]
Hi all. This is what I've been working on lately. It' a D9R propped on wooden blocks. This will be the center piece for my latest diorama. All the other details will be in the diorama. The diorama will be called...'Major Maintenance'. Hope [...]
I was given a brand new Volvo LM 841 to weather as well as make a small vignette, for a friend of mine, Rickard Algotsson. I decided to give this 1:50 scale model a go. It's a beautiful model with great details. Surprisingly enough, it is [...]
This AG build was an inspiration base on Adrian Quillet 3D art Hover-bike, but the original design concept was made by Mehrdad Malek. I came up with my own version to try and avoid replicating it 100%. I kit-bashed this using the T-Armata [...]
The photos are not in chronological order. That meant I had to upload one photo at a time to keep it in the right order. I just could not be bothered. (Is there a way to do so after upload?).
This is a build I did way in 2007, if my [...]
I have been trying out different techniques and diorama design styles for some time now. Been working out on the 'Damaged scattered' look, and car damaged look. Haven't been able to decide on a possible diorama look but been working on [...]
Yes. It's another hover bike. I told you, I was into the anti-gravity mood.
Original kit bashing, using parts from the same kit and minor other parts to create this beast. The engines are electrical shells and many small bits and [...]
