Building, painting and finishing scale aircraft models.
Finally got this done. This is #3 of a same kit build (the other 2 are already posted) that was supposed to be a break from "Advanced Modelers Syndrome" Even though it is box stock, including the pilot instead of belts, it fought [...]
So you sit down ,open the box and tell yourself that you're really going to take the time and produce a museum quality piece with this one. Maybe next time. Had some warped plastic with this one, some paint issues and some decals that [...]
I've build this kit a year ago.
The kit was not an easy build... the instructions were in JAPANESE!
Painted with Tamiya acrylics IJN Green, IJN Grey, Yellow with a touch of red for IFF and lines on prop. The brown colour of the prop is [...]
And another early build...
The A6M2 Zero made by Doyusha, released by Tomy and Swallow too...
The plane depicts the mount of Lt. Yukio Seki, leading the first Kamikaze attack on 25 oct. 1944.
Used the Hasegawa A6M5c wheels and propblades [...]
Another one of my earlier builds, 1:32 scale Hasegawa Ki-44 Shoki.
Everything is sprayed with Revell enamels, only decals used is the number on the tail and wheelcovers.
Had a hell of a job on the red "line" on the fuselage [...]

This is my Classic Airframes Wyvern (anyone know what a Wyvern is?) and one of my favourites,it certainly is an ungainly looking bird but I love that huge contra-rotating prop set up.This is the only Classic airframes kit I have built and [...]
Here's my version of Tamiya's 1/48 F4U-1 'birdcage' Corsair, finished in the nondescript markings of a Marine squadron based in the Solomons in 1943.
This build was almost straight 'out-of-the-box' - the only things added were seat belts, [...]
Here's my Monogram TBD, still a terrific kit despite its age. I added lots of scratch-built details, seat belts and a few photo-etched pieces to dress up the cockpit, a vac-form canopy, and enclosed the wheel wells.
The decals from the [...]
