The model represents a Spitfire that was flown from Sardinia and southern France by F/Lt A.W. Guest. The aircraft was assigned to No. 43 Squadron on July 13, 1944. MT714 was written off on March 14, 1946.
So here's a thing, IMO, the Skyray is one of the most beautiful looking aircraft ever to fly, simple as that.

This is easily the biggest paper model from fiddlers green that I built. It went together surprisingly easy. Took awhile though. the full build can be seen here. it was indeed an impressive model for me. Cheers.
