I have been extremely busy with all sorts of full scale life lately, and I have not had much free time available at the work bench. Because of this, I was not able to fully complete these models before the December 7th deadline. Sorry. [...]
This is my minimal contribution to this big historical event.

Hasegawa 1/72 scale kit
I assembled the 1/72 F-2 from the standard box.
I made some modifications to the nose cable, AOA sensor, pitot tube, wing tip cables and nozzles, but the rest of the kit is as is.
I mostly model armor but lately I've wanted to try an aircraft as it's been probably forty years since I've built one. This one I found in the LHS and began it in late October, finishing it up the first week of December.

What can I say, not a bad little kit.
It went together quite well with minor scraping and filling.
Built OOB the only additions were a small piece of brass tube for a short shot in the cockpit and scrap photoetch for the rear view [...]
