Naval modeling - ships, submarines and boats.
Again, built OOB with some additional PE railings, I hated doing these, so doubtful i'll add them to future builds!
Lower hull is "Red Oxide" primer, upper hull and super structure is Grey primer (as i did to all my models in the [...]
Built straight from the box, using grey and red oxide "rattlecans" and brushes. Searchlights were enhanced using some crafters "crystal embelishments"...happy with the result considering i've been away from modelling [...]
This is the Merit 1/35 scale kit. It's been quite awhile since I posted anything or finished anything but here we go. The kit was a very nice build, no flash or ejector pin marks tha show up. The hull is 2 pieces joined at the lower sharp [...]
First off, the scale is undetermined by me. It's not the advertised 1/72 but closer to 1/125-1/150th, perhaps 1/144th. It measures around 13" in length.
The instructions leave a lot to be desired as the whole kit is built in 6 [...]
Hi Everyone,
Having now got to grips with all my pictures on my laptop, I thought I would share this recently built model with you all.
This is a really nice kit, very simple, but very detailed, and is built OOB. Not a lot else to say [...]

Hello everyone,
Here is my first completion for 2016. It was built as a commission for a friend at work. You may recall a previous build I posted of another submarine I built, also for said same friend. A couple of pictures show the two of [...]
My last of model of 2015. 🙂 It could be better, especially painting part, but I am satisfied. This is my first work with PE parts 🙂 Feel free to comment, good or bad. Thank you.
This is the recent Trumpeter kit, which was apparently developed by Pit-Road in Japan. I love ships and ship models, but being PE challenged, they usually don't love me. This is the first one that I feel that I've finished to a decent [...]
My first model ship since my age was single digits, many, many moons ago...
Trumpeter 1/350 H.M.C.S. Huron, '1944' per package. I think that may be true as many features of the superstructure are more complex or not shown at all on the box [...]
