G.W.H. 1/48 T-33A Shooting Star

GWH's Shooting Star is a very nice kit. It featured finely recessed panel lines and is relatively simple to build. Some shape anomality was attributed to the tail unit. The front nose cover part requires sanding to fit with the rest of the [...]

"Britain's Beast!" -- Tamiya Mk IV Male

Another fantastic kit from Tamiya. A joy to build, especially the tracks. Totally OTB and nothing added except many, many (many) hours and sessions of weathering and layering. I threw lots and lots of stuff at this beast. Pigments, [...]

Tamiya 1/48 A-1H Skyraider

The Skyraider was a late WWII Douglas design to fulfill the United States Navy requirements for a carrier-based, single-seat, long-range, high performance dive/torpedo bomber that would be a follow-on to the Dauntlesses, Helldivers and [...]

Academy 1/48 P-40N Warhawk (ex Mauve)

Improved with the Eduard PE set for this kit, Master metal cannons, and a Cutting Edge resin reflector sight (OOP), and scratchbuilt details on the cockpit. I used an old Super Scale decal sheet following most of its painting guide. This [...]

Panzer Werkstatt, France, 1944, 3/s.H.Pz. Abt. 503

Couple of years old diorama. With this thing I forgot old saying that less is more, so there is surely more... Without any hesitation I decided to put "all in" and see what happens. And this was the outcome. This is also kind of [...]

No Future

After Marty flew to far into future he recognised there was no hope so the time machine was forgotten 😉 My inspiration came from a shirt I saw and I thought it would be fun to put it into a diorama. The DeLorean model by Aoshina is not [...]

USAF F-86E Record-Setter: 1/48 Italeri F-86E

This is the fourth of four F-86s that I have built for the "F-86 Sabre and FJ Fury Group". I chose the Italeri 1/48 F-86E for this build, which actually comes from the old ESCI molds from 1979. The biggest problem with this kit [...]

1/144 Platz P-51D

This is the Platz 1/144 P-51D. This continues to add to my 1/144 collection. These Platz kits [1/144 P-47, A-4 Skyhawk & F-8 Crusader] are very nice and make into great little displays. Steve

Trumpeter 1/32 Swordfish Mk. I

With the wings swept back in the parking position, Trumpeter's Swordfish becomes a challenging kit to build. The wings exert a tremendous pressure on the hinges, tail unit and wheels. The result though is well worth the effort.

Lockheed P-3C Orion, 10SQN RAAF 1985

Next off my P-3 production line is is the 1/72 Hasegawa kit built OOB and finished with kit and Canuck Decals for a machine from 10SQN RAAF. HF wire antennas were made from eziline.
