1/72 Fujimi, finished in MM and Revell enamels with Future over the kit decals, unknown top coat !
This is the old 1/7? scale Fujimi kit. Originally I finished it off as a bird from VA-35 off the USS Saratoga in the late fifties, but it fell off the shelf, tail cracking, destroying the decal,[ hazard of building old brittle kits]. [...]
1/72 Fujimi, my first F18, I hinged the tail-planes, added a etched ladder and Hasegawa fuel tanks and Mk84 bombs, finished in MM enamels MM acrylic flat over PD decals, 3 Sqn 75th anniversary, flown by CO Wing Commander David Pietsch.
1/72 Fujimi, my first Skyhawk, I modified the engine intakes and instrument panels, finished in BS 693 and BS 697 by a local manufacturer, Model Master and Tamiya X22 enamels.

This was from a 2013 group build for our Tulsa club - 6 of us ended up finishing 21's (sorry - can't find those pics at the moment). I had an aftermarket decal set, and chose the Afghan version as I just liked the color scheme. The kit [...]
Built this ages ago but haven't managed to upload it - sorry guys!
Although an old kit and picked up for a bargain at £5! As well as a few touch ups in the cockpit, it soon came out a nice kit 🙂
