Hi everyone,
Finally completed.
The first of a trio of Luftwaffe ground attack planes, this kit represents the machine of Major Theodor Nordmann, the Kommandeur of II./SG.3, in August 44, based in Riga, Latvia.
Painted with Gunze [...]
This is Eduard’s 2019 release of their superb 1:48th Fw 190A-8 dressed up as “Blue 4” W/Nr.350189, 12./JG5 based at Herdla, Norway in Spring of 1945. Eduard says this plane was photographed on several occasions, but darned if I could [...]
The first idea with this kit was to repeat the experiment with the painting masks for insignia, which proved to be a total failure. I painted the propeller spinner white, then applied the mask for the spiral, sprayed it dark green – the [...]
This model was done prior to the Macchi MC202, between April and May of 2020. It was the first time that I started to experiment with some serious free hand camo, in general all the airbrushing done on this one was in freehand, due to the [...]

The book [...]
Built in 2016. Hasegawa kit with Kommandeur decals, the JG5 batch is from Kagero because it came closest to the original, the little 4s on the gear covers are from the sparesbox. Painted as usual back then with Gunze and Tamiya acrylics, [...]
The Tamiya family of 1/48th scale FockeWulf 190s have long been pilloried by certain elements of the modeling community as being heavily flawed, to the point where some have even stated that the kits aren't worth building. I've always [...]
Here my FW190A5 Dragon kit converted to the U-8 JaBo version.
The aircraft from 1./ SKG 10 flew from Poix, France in summer 1943 against targets in England.
It was build some time ago already.
Painted with Tamiya and Gunze paints.
All [...]
