I have been interested in the building aspect of model making. I love building dirty trucks that look used. Show trucks are great to look at but built-to-look used is what does it for me. I've been building trucks since 2011. Before that I've been building modern military vehicles since 2002. Must say that truck building is fun and nicer on the eyes, if you old chaps know what I mean.
I've been working on a diorama for a few of my trucks. I decided I wanted an old truck yard(obviously, its me), where old or almost run down trucks and trailers can be parked. I wanted the old concrete look and miscellaneous objects lying [...]
Finally added the figures to the vignette. I hope you all like the results. Thanks.
I have been working on a small snow diorama for the Oscarsson's truck and trailer I weathered a while ago for a client. I wanted to show-off the truck and trailer combo in its environment to further make it more convincing., Although, the [...]
Since I did the mud scenario, I wanted to try a snow scenario. My inspiration came from a similar scene I found on the net.
I have been going to town with this trailer. I wanted a bit more heavy winter weathering than the main truck. I used many reference photos to achieve a similar look on this trailer. I will go over and pack the snow a little tighter or [...]
Yep! It's another 1:50 scale commission job from the same customer, who commissioned the truck dock/bay. The customer partner, Tobias Oscarsson, has the exact same truck in real life. This time, its a simple weathering job. I decided to go [...]
After these photos were taken, I'd realized I did not add a crucial detail. The slight damage to the ground, when the forks came in contact. Not there would have been any major difference to the ground or tarmac, but it would make for a [...]
I have been working on the second SBAT model, TGB 40 from 'Swedish Model Works. Yes, its a 1:87 scale, too darn small for my taste, yet interesting. 🙂 This is the 3-axle brother to the TGB 30 from the same company, I did awhile back. [...]
This build was inspired by Clint Young, who is a 3D artist professional, working with Lucasfilm. I got the go ahead, to do a 3D print of his 3D art design, called Hover Hogg. The Original image of his work can be seen on Instagram, [...]
