Building, painting and finishing scale aircraft models.
I fancied building something a little different, and with the US Navy having undertaken testing with this latest Unmanned Combat Air System, (UCAS) the Freedom Model Kits' recent release of the X-47B in 1/48th scale fitted the bill [...]
I enjoyed this build and glad it's finally done. I used a Quickboost engine (wired and pushrods added), the Obscureco cowl, CMK flaps, Eduard etch and a True Details resin seat in the cockpit. Paint is MM Glossy Sea Blue with a Polly [...]
They come in a variety of types: Fighter, Bomber, Interceptor and now Mojo Buster!
Note: I haven't painted the laser canon tips as I'm going to attach some green florescent rod and put the ship in a dio with the X-Wing. In case you [...]

The pylon for the radome is scratch [...]
An oldie from the 'loft insulation'. I built this a while ago but it still looks good. Not a bad kit and would argue better than the Hasegawa kit for the price. Certianly less complicated. When you don't spend big bucks on a kit it's much [...]
