Accurate Miniatures, 1:48 Scale A-36A-1-Na, 'Apache'

Calling this one, DONE! Accurate Miniatures, 1:48 scale, North American Aircraft, A-36A-1-Na, "Apache". To be honest, I've no idea how the name "Apache" was tagged onto these aircraft. As far I know, the name was [...]

"Canucks Unlimited" Dakota III, 436 Squadron RCAF, India/Burma 1944/45

Built for "100 Years of the Royal Canadian Air Force" group build. Used the Airfix kit with decals from Flight Colours. Tamiya RAF Dark Green, Dark Earth and Medium Sea Grey. Some notes about 436 Squadron (from Wikiwand): [...]

PBY-5A Catalina RAAF Academy 1/72

(link) Catalina is one of my favorite naval aircraft. I remember in the early nineties when it was in the shop window, painted black, and I could only dream of buying it. So after thirty years I am going back to my dreams. Almost a year [...]

1/48 Dornier Do 217N-1

Probably the toughest conversion I ever made. A Promodeler Do-215E was combined with Koster Conversion set. the latter consists of vacuformed, white metal, resin and etched parts. I put the model to rest during the conversion after [...]

Hasegawa 1/49 Arado 234B-2/N `Nachtigall´

A complex model by Hasegawa depicting Arado's night fighter developed during the final months of the War.

The ‘rocket with a pilot’, well, ‘with two pilots’, in this case! TF-104G Starfighter, Aeronautica Militare

This model was created as a farewell gift for a long-time acquaintance: he is the owner of the penultimate pure modelling shop in my home town. He will be retiring in the foreseeable future and his modelling shop will be closing its doors [...]

Dogs of War: 1/48th Revell F-86D Dog Sabre

Every once in a while you find a kit that was better than expected, case in point for me: the 1/48th Revell F-86D Dog Sabre. My kit builds into an early F-86D (without the braking parachute) although the version with the parachute housing [...]

Tamiya 1/48 Do 335A Pfeil

The clean lines of the Pfeil makes Tamiya's kit a pleasure to build and the authentic look of the model when completed. The only criticism I have is the rather modular design of cockpit components and the instrument decal.

Monogram 1/48 A-26C Invader "Jersey Bounce"

1/48 Monogram A-26C "Jersey Bounce" 90th Bomb Squadron, 3rd Bomb Group. Korea 1952 I started this ages ago after finding it for super cheap online with an Eduard interior set thrown in with the listing. Grad school, work, and [...]

Tamiya F-84G Thunderjet, 1/48 scale

Hey Party People! Here is my recently completed Tamiya F-84G Thunderjet in 1/48 scale. I designed and cut my own masks for the nose number and roundels with mixed results. PE belt buckles from Tom Anyz were used along with Tamiya tape to [...]
