Another of my old figures. This one was kindly offered to me by Ron Souza to review for Historical Miniature Magazine, this is Mili-Men King’s Shilling 120 mm 8th Hussar painted in oils. I scratch built the background.
This is my first attempt at painting with oils. It’s oil over acrylics and that seems to work for me, as the oils lend itself better for blending and if you make a mistake you can pull the paint off again with thinner.
