Just as introduction, this is an Me 109 E from Academy, look very nice but has some minor troubles.
It was made some years ago
I paint it with xtracolor, free hand with Badger 100 LG fine needle.

Model is Italeri, 1281 box number, 1/72 scale KC-135R/FR Stratotanker kit. Grey color plastic parts and engraved detailed panel lines. Not an easy kit. Parts are not symmetric. A lot of gaps between parts. And some details are missing on [...]
1/72 Italeri, my second C130, with my own fuselage and side pod extensions, I also extended the cargo floor, made my own spinners, re-profiled the engine cowls, modified the exhausts with plastic tube, moved the outer engines forward to [...]
I got this one done, my third for this year! A honey of a kit, loaded with detail and great fit! Loved building this model and I'm gonna have to pencil in another one, just because!

My first completed build of the new year is the venerable Matchbox He-115, a kit that I think was first issued the year I graduated from high school back in the '70's. It's also the first model to come out of my new model room. Built [...]
When my friend Jim Sullivan sent me the photo of the NAS Glenview Bearcat, I knew that was the one I wanted to replicate. Fortunately, SuperScale has those markings on their sheet 48-1008.
I possessed both the Hobbycraft and Hobby Boss [...]
Today I fire a 1/48 scale salvo at my good friend Dennis Meyers in our friendly model competition (I know he's working on the Eduard 1/48 Spitfire he received from imodeler). This is my fourth completed kit for 2016, the Airfix 1/48 Hawker [...]
Again this was supposed to be a quick out of the box build but ended up with me spending a lot of time on the model. First of all, I "canvassed in" the wheel wells using coffee filter paper. Then I detailed the cockpit with [...]
