This is the Platz 1/144 P-51D. This continues to add to my 1/144 collection. These Platz kits [1/144 P-47, A-4 Skyhawk & F-8 Crusader] are very nice and make into great little displays.

With the wings swept back in the parking position, Trumpeter's Swordfish becomes a challenging kit to build. The wings exert a tremendous pressure on the hinges, tail unit and wheels. The result though is well worth the effort.
Next off my P-3 production line is is the 1/72 Hasegawa kit built OOB and finished with kit and Canuck Decals for a machine from 10SQN RAAF. HF wire antennas were made from eziline.
1/72 Fujimi, built 09-2020 to 12-2023, some small modifications, QB seats added, finished in MM enamels with a mix of Humbrol oranges, Pledge and Vallejo mav over Ronin decals to commemorate the end of service.
