So I got TWO done this year. Tamiya 1/48 F-14A. Victory 210 USS Nimitz 1986-87. One of the fist Tomcats I ever saw. I didn't want to build AJ 200 as everyone builds that one, so I got my Cruise book out and found one that I had decals [...]
This model kit is a curious blend of really nice and rather awful. Fit in some areas was pretty bad, requiring a goodish amount of filler and sanding. The cockpit detail is very weak, hence closed canopy and the molding is somwhat soft. [...]
1/24 Hasegawa Lancia 037 Rally:

I am posting this article at 8am, December 7th, Honolulu time. Exactly 80 years on from the moment of the first wave of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour in 1941.
The aircraft carrier Agaki was Vice Admiral Chūichi Nagumo's flagship [...]
Hasegawa 1/72 scale kit
I assembled the 1/72 F-2 from the standard box.
I made some modifications to the nose cable, AOA sensor, pitot tube, wing tip cables and nozzles, but the rest of the kit is as is.
I mostly model armor but lately I've wanted to try an aircraft as it's been probably forty years since I've built one. This one I found in the LHS and began it in late October, finishing it up the first week of December.
I used the Eduard [...]
