I just wanted to share this diorama with everyone. It is set "somewhere" in France in 1944. A local cafe was komandeerd as a field HQ. Running out of army rations Private Hans kidnapped Porky to add to the potato and bread menu. [...]
This is Tamiya's lovely Raiden in 1/48. Sweet little bird, had a lot of fun weathering it too. Enjoy the pix. 🙂

This was going to be a double build along with the new Airfix Mk.I, but when I got started I just kept going. This kit just falls together & the only modification was to reduce the windscreen side panels to improve the proportions. [...]
Another shelf of doom finish. Corsair painted with Model Master Paints. Weathered with Mig wash. Tamiya Pilot finished with Tamiya paints and Mig wash.

Well folks another shelf of doom kit finished. This one of of the 335 captured by the French by the end of the war. Painted with tamiya paints. Weathered with Mig and AK washes.

Just four weeks from opening the box to finishing it on Monday evening. Now this isn't me 'showing-off' it's simply a reflection of just how well this Tamiya kit goes together.
