I enjoy looking at the work of other modellers, for inspiration.
This winter diorama is made using Miniart's Russian Field Kitchen (Winter) set, Tamiya's German Assault Infantry set (Winter), and Trumpeter's Aerosan (posted recently in its own right during WiP stage). The Russian boy and Snowman are a [...]

As there seems to have been reasonable interest in my previous posting, I've added a second and final tranche of images, from both HMS Victory and HMS Warrior, with a selection from the museum areas themselves, as described previously.
In keeping with a current project (wooden ship model HM Bomb Vessel Granado), for inspiration I visited the famous Historic Naval Dockyard and Museums at Portsmouth.
The best known exhibit is HMS Victory (yes, THAT one). I include here [...]
After the start of the Pacific War, units of the Imperial Japanese Army began to encounter advanced Allied medium tanks such as the M4 Sherman. The Japanese Type 97 Chi-Ha medium tank lacked sufficient armour or armament to deal with this [...]

In 1908, Fiat introduced a chain-driven Grand Prix racing car which they dubbed the SB4. It was used in competition and that is where Sir Ernest Eldridge from Britain saw it [...]
