I am a freshman in college. My model building interest started in the summer before my 8th grade year. I originally started by building only ships but branched out to tanks and aircraft.
This was my fastest build so far. It took me about 5 hours to build. It is also my first 1/72 scale tank.

I built this T-34 as part of a larger diorama that I am going to build. I experimented a lot with different techniques such as using a sponge to paint chipped paint. Overall it was a very fun build.
I wanted achieve a highly weathered effect so I used large amounts of washes and weathering techniques. I wanted to make some parts look like they were covered with clothes so I made these clothes out of tin foil. The dock is scratchbuilt.
