I have been interested in the building aspect of model making. I love building dirty trucks that look used. Show trucks are great to look at but built-to-look used is what does it for me. I've been building trucks since 2011. Before that I've been building modern military vehicles since 2002. Must say that truck building is fun and nicer on the eyes, if you old chaps know what I mean.

Business as usual – ‘After the war’

The short story for this diorama; is these two bike repair owners, are trying their luck at re-opening their place of business, after the take down of the Libyan leader.

Military Land Rover

This is an out-dated build that had been de-commissioned a long time ago. In other words, it does not exist in my collection presently. The scale is 1/24 Italeri model kit. Other than some scratch built parts, and some added small [...]

Truck Axle Service

MAN – Burnt Out Cab

I have been experimenting lately with different burnt out effects, on various vehicles. After doing the burnt out car, I just decided to go ahead and try a truck. In the earlier stages I had to re-do some parts and scratch built parts in [...]

The Falke – Redux

Here is a model I did a little while back. It is Falke model by Hasegawa: As usual with practically all my builds, I like to give models my own personal touch. The Falke is definately no exemption here. I have heavily modified the [...]

“Make a Deal”

I am planning a truck diorama, possibly two. But I decided to do a quick build. I do not usually do cars, but I had bought the 'Revell Citroen 2CV Sausss Ente', to do a futuristic project, but decided not to go ahead with the project any [...]

Random Award in November 2017

Ok all. This is a bit of a long overdue article about me being chosen for the November 'Random Award 2017'. My sincere apologies for not doing this last year, but I had other engagements that took priority over modeling. But as the saying [...]

Modeling a street industry building in 1/24 scale

The material used here are form board through out the entire diorama. The asphalt is represented by fine grade sand paper. The sidewalk is formboard painted with a concrete color mix, I had mixed at my local paint store. I used the same [...]
