Building, painting and finishing scale aircraft models.
A very nice model by Hasegawa. Cockpit and ejection seats by Aires. The Belgian Air Force Starfighters had Lockheed C2 ejection seats with a cradle-like harness, which is well depicted by Aires.
Unfortunately, in this particular model, the [...]
I realized just now that I never posted a full article on Bud Anderson's other "Old Crow," the P-51D-15 he flew during his second tour with the 357th.
I did this with the Airfix 1/48 P-51D when it came out back in 2015. I had the [...]
Another tiny project completed...and this was really tiny. I had a chance to fly in real one almost 15 years ago, then I made one in 1/72, now I tried to go even smaller. I found restock of Miniwing Kiowa OH-58A at my favorite shop, and [...]

Two kits are presented here. Yet, I had only one KMC set. The Bubble Canopy PR Griffon Spitfire was scratch made using [...]
Here is a little 1/72 scale Catalina by Academy, I’m not a fan of Academy, especially their horrible decals, but this kit was a must have for one of my customers and I was happy to obliged to it is one of my favorite aircraft of WW2. [...]
Tamiya's 1/48 Corsair is a magical kit. Although not a shake and bake kit, it takes little effort to give the built model a realistic look.
A great aircraft and a very good kit. The only problem that I had with construction was the fuselage halves seam that was not easy to fix. The decals did not preform well and needed additional solvents to settle in place.
I love Eduard more and more, especially their WW1 aircraft. Great detail, great instructions and plenty of options. This Bristol is a challenging build, especially when it comes to rigging. If you haven’t done rigging before, this [...]
