This is Round 2's reissue of the old Lindberg Q ship kit. I made it into a tramp steamer resembling the ship seen in the 1933 King Kong movie. It's about 1/400 ish scale. All I need is a King Kong figure.

Finally got some time on the bench in 2020. Needed something small to get me going again, so I gave a go at the four-stack destroyer of Mirage Hobby. The build is OOB with the addition of some generic 1/350 railings.

I wanted achieve a highly weathered effect so I used large amounts of washes and weathering techniques. I wanted to make some parts look like they were covered with clothes so I made these clothes out of tin foil. The dock is scratchbuilt.
