Trumpeter 1/144 scale Astute class submarine

I went and done it I bought a plastic kit.Less than 30 parts, to this 26 inch long sub. Putting the two hull halves together took a lot of pressure. Brush painted it which helps to make it look more realistic. Happy with the result.

This is a scratch built model of HMS Diamond type 45 Destroyer. I copied the dimensions from a 1/700 kit times 3 =1.233 scale.The hull is calved from a block of pine,the rest is ply.I also built Daring and Dauntless to the same scale.
