Airfix Stuka 1/48

I've been following this site for some time and have decided to join in the fun. This is my recently completed Airfix Stuka. A great all around kit. Good detail and fit, nice decals , easy to follow instructions and reasonably [...]

Old Friends and a New Place

With the boy child moving out of the nest, the need to renovate the upstairs became a topic of discussions initiated by my wife, She Who Must Be Obeyed. Since my Camera/Office room upstairs was the biggest space and often never used for [...]

Joker WIP

Custom action fig, model, statue - however what you may want to classify. I am making this 1:6 figure my own. Found this guy on clearance, he was screaming to customized. He needed a bit of work to become more dynamic. Solid, tight purple [...]

Modern Army Rail

These diesel units as utilized by the army and navy. This was my last military association. Utilizing an old Micro scale decal sheet and using Athern HO models I converted these diesels into military machines.

Flinstone Stool

It's not a model, but I used all the same skills - why not? Scratch built for sure. Using my sculpting abilities I was able to somehow produce this baby for a $7 stool and foam. No reason why. It got me 1st in Sculpture category Nat'l Vets [...]

Nose Art Group build

That's right, I'm moving forward with a new project, the helicopter carrier Ise, many parts will be changed and others will be added, for this I will occupy the set from Tetra models in railings and safety nets, stairs and handrails from [...]

MA.K. P.K.H.103 1a Nutrocker (Nitto 1/76)

MA.K hover tank in 1/76 scale. These are fun kits to build and weather. Added some photo etch, brass rod, wire, and styrene from the spares box. This was my first time using the MIG Ammo line of paints and weathering colors.

War Loco Revisited

This is Trumpeter’s 1/35 Baureihe (Br-) 52 Kriegslocomotive. I first posted the build three months ago as "End of the Line." I had intended to dress the landscape areas more thoroughly at that time but never seemed to get round [...]

April Random Award Winner

Just wanted to say thanks to Martin and crew for this awesome kit! I had been wanting to add a clipped wing Spitfire to my stash so this win was a great opportunity to do just that. Figured I'd post a picture of myself with the kit and [...]
