Hi folks,
Well between struggling to get motivated and finding time to build, I have actually completed what I started in February. A really nice kit providing lots of opportunity for extra detailing! I spruced up the cockpit and added [...]
This conversion languished for a very long time- about 4 years.
I got the Paragon PB-1W Conversion, and a Monogram 1/48 B-17G, then the kit and conversion sat, and sat.
I got hold of a great reference book- "B-17 In Blue: The Flying [...]
I started this and a Hasegawa 109G-6 together over 4+ years ago working along with the Floyd Werner video for building the Hasegawa 1/32 109's. It was shelved for a reason I can't remember and I pulled the G-4 down for completion just over [...]
Hi. Built this kit a couple of months ago. It's Mongrams F-4C. I decided to rescribe the kit, add some of the panels from True Details cockpit set to the kit, True Details ejector seats, Hasegawa weapons, Aeromaster decals and some [...]
Hi All,
Here is my PM Models TA-154, a kit that I really enjoyed building, probably as I was prepeared for being a bit of work. It definitley needs lots of test fitting, sand paper, plastic card and the occaisional filler.
I bulked up the [...]
This is my 1/32 Hasegawa Fw-190 D9. This was a long term build taking five years. I wanted to have a go at "riveting" and I used the MDC tool. This was a painful and tedious process, but I'm happy with the result. A major [...]
In my opinion Zvezda's Bf109F is the best in 1/48. very well detailed, and goes together just as well. I painted her with Floquil Military enamels, and Model Master enamels. After market decals are from Aeromaster if I'm not mistaken.
This is my latest build completed a few months ago. This is the 1/72 Hasegawa A6M2b Zero. The model is OOB with the exception of PE seatbelts. I used Gunze Mr Color lacquers to paint it and it was weathered with oils, pencils and pastels.
Here are a few snaps of my latest completion, the old, but very good, 1/32 Hasegawa kit painted as the 4th section leader of VF-6's aircraft.
I worked on this model on-and-off (mostly off) over the past 3 years and 9 months, and in that [...]
