Unmanned: General Atomics MQ-9 ReaperKinetic 1/48

Up next off the bench was this Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, which is used by a number of nations world-wide. I must admit, I am not particularly drawn to this vehicle or it's type, however, given its prevalence and admitted capabilities, I [...]

ESCI 1/48 F-86F Sabre

A build I made many years ago of the F-86F Sabre. The wings in this kit represents the E or early F of the sabre jets. This was a quick build, my log shows only 4 days (that is very quick for me). Built straight out of the box. Any details [...]

The Airfix pilot dream

This is a short story regarding an old build, found here at (link), and published first on (link) . I hope you like it. The Airfix Pilot Dream Once I built a model, an Airfix Spitfire MK1A 1:72. I built it following the specifications, [...]

Albatros D.III OAW, Jasta 50, 1917

Roden 1/32 + WNW decals + Gaspatch. I didn't find pictures of the wings and I didn't know the exact colour of ribs. I chose pink, but blue could be equally valid. Rigging not yet finished.

1/48 Trumpeter HU-16A Albatross Sea Plane

This build is the Trumpeter 1/48 HU-16A Albatross. I chose the United States Coast Guard scheme from 1957 using Caracal decals. The kit itself comes with a small photo etch set for added details, metal landing gear struts, and rubber [...]

Kawasaki Ki-61-I Hien, Tamiya 1/72

Finished this little kit in 2020. What can I say, this is the best kit I ever built, absolutely superb. No filling required. Painted with AK Real Colors and Alclad II paints.

End of War…1/48 Focke-Wulf Fw190D-9 (late), 7./JG26

Built over 6 years ago. Eduard kit oob, except a Tamiya sliding canopy. Landing gear detail, and antenna wire added, painted with Gunze and Tamiya acrylics. This aircraft was discovered by the allies at Hustedt near Celle, where it was [...]

Beaufort! The New Mk. I from Airfix

My version of the great new Airfix kit. Of the two available scenes, I chose L9866, which flew from St. Eval and was lost on February 1st, 1941, probably to fire from a 109E. Both schemes have compelling stories connected to them; I chose [...]
