My modelling interests centred originally around aircraft, but other projects include armour, civilian vehicles, figures, ships and dioramas, and these have achieved gold-medal standards at the British Nationals and other regional exhibitions.
I've had a few projects featured in photo galleries on Cybermodeler, Armorama, and Aeroscale, but find I'm never really satisfied with a completed model, and so keep building in hope of achieving that elusive 'perfect model'.
I enjoy looking at the work of other modellers, for inspiration.
This Pacific-themed diorama includes both kit- and scratch-built items.
The aircraft is Tamiya's 1/32 Zero. It's made two appearances here in previous incarnations; from its present state, this is likely the last. The Marine figures are [...]
This sculpt, marketed as "Savage Horn" by Spanish company Nocturna, consists of twelve finely cast pieces of grey resin.
There's little flash in evidence, but as some pieces are quite small a fine-toothed saw is required to [...]

I used the Eduard self-adhesive interior set for controls and consoles, and their Brassin [...]
UPDATE
Earlier this month, I posted this article about the USS Indianapolis. I noted that the mid-line blue on the hull was, in retrospect, the wrong colour. It made the ship look more like a fairground attraction than a USN vessel, and [...]
This is Academy's 1/350 Japanese submarine I-58 (Keiten), infamous for sinking the U.S.S. Indianapolis on the latter's return from delivering parts for the first atomic weapons, just a week before the end of hostilities in the Pacific.

About eighten months ago, I posted an article here, with photographs of an armour diorama, depicting a Konigstiger making its way through scrubby Ardennes forest in December, 1944. Also modelled - a few troops, including a hapless [...]
Final selection of photos from the Modelkraft show at Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, on April 26.
Every year IPMS Milton Keynes hosts a regional show in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
It's a fairly large show, this year with 40+ clubs attending and as many traders. It's held in a large Leisure Centre, with a main hall, with secondary [...]
