Building, painting and finishing scale aircraft models.
Hasegawa's 1/48 Ki-61. I finished this one a couple of years ago. OOB.
Some pix of Chino's D4Y3 Suisen (Judy). Terrible weather, but this was the first time she was out in public and got started up, so it was a case of suck it up and unlimber the camera. The airplane will never fly, due to the corrosion in [...]
This Wildcat is finished in the VF-42 markings of the machine flown by Scott McCuskey at the Battle of Coral Sea, while shipped aboard the USS Yorktown. The KMC -3 wings fit very nicely, but cutting and filing the mating surface requires [...]
"ONE OF THE GREATEST PRIZES OF THE PACIFIC WAR."

If it's an X-Wing, why are they called S-Foils?
Fisher conversion added. Ce MB Mk5 Seat, Eduard color etch, Mr. Color and Floquil paints. Flame holder was scratched, and I did the center wing myself by removing the hump and filling/ reshaping with Magic Sculpt. I was not fond of using [...]
Built OOB...just like the F9F-8 Cougar a fantastic resin kit! Paint was Mr Color, and gloss was Mr Color out of the rattle can.
Thanks,
