Hasegawa 1/48 scale kit
I finished my personal favorite kit, which is one of Hasegawa's most well-made kits.
We focused on the metal representation and weathering of the used fuselage to finish it.

The most trouble free aircraft model I've ever put together, I can't sing praise enough. The only AM are the seabelts, and I tossed in a few bombs I had lying about spare.
Painted in Tammy Sea Grey and Dark Sea Grey with a black Flory's [...]
The origins of the F-89 (the name Scorpion came from the elevated tail and high-mounted horizontal stabilizers) can be traced back in summer 1945, when USAAF issued a specification for a twin engine night fighter to replace the P-61 Black [...]

I discovered this kit from Hasegawa around the fall of 2022 and had a pretty rough time tracking it down. [...]

Sorry to be late with this, but here are the completed builds from 2023. I managed seven total, and a couple other started, and hope to finish in the coming year. I was going to post the Spitfire from an earlier article, but, I did only [...]
This is one of those kits that was removed from the infamous, "Shelf of Doom!". Those shelves are like opinions, and everybody's got one...(Among other things...;)
"Shelf of Doom", "Bin of Shame", as model builders, we all [...]
Atlantis re-pop of the classic Monogram kit. My wife got it for me for Christmas, what a fun build and trip down memory lane. I used aftermarket decals and hand painted the tail stripes rather than using the stickers
