Trumpeter model kits

Trumpeter T-38C Talon, 1/48

Hello again iModeler! Here is my Trumpeter T-38C Talon, built completely OOB. This was a fun kit and I had no problems with it during construction. I purchased and built this kit last summer, so it did not stay idle in my stash for long. [...]

Another 2020 retrospective

Full writeups of these will come in due time. Why do I have a feeling I'm going to have the same amount of free time in 2021? 🙂 🙂 🙁 🙂 🙂 :C ^^$%$#! 😐 :/ 😀 🙂 🙂

USS West Virginia BB-48 1945Trumpeter 1/700

So... On a whim, figured I post one of my ships on here. This is Trumpeter's 1/700 West Virginia '45 kit, which is very similar to all the Big 5 kits that Trumpeter has put forth. It's a pretty good kit, but as with most ships, I felt the [...]

Trumpeter 1/48 De Havilland Sea Hornet NF. 21, 1952

The de Havilland Hornet/Sea Hornet used wooden construction techniques pioneered by the Mosquito. The aircraft was to conduct Royal Navy Air Service long range fighter operations against Japan. The war ended before the Hornet reached [...]

1:48 Scale Trumpeter Savoia-Marchetti, SM-79 Sparviero (Sparrow Hawk)

This model was a build in the making of about four, maybe five years. One of those builds that was really intriguing at first, but was a constant interest loser for the rest of the time. I'd pick it up now and again, play around with [...]

Eduard, 1/48, Mig19PM

Hi guys, Here is my Eduard, 1/48, Mig19PM. Actually, this is a Trumpeter kit that was repacked by Eduard with some additions like: PE and resin parts. The result: an EXCELLENT kit and highly recommended.

There's a Spad under the tree!

Well, this was a journey. Trumpeter's A-1H has its strong points and weak points. many of which have been written about by myself and others. So I will not belabor them here. Would I recommend this kit? Well, if you want a 1/32 A-1H [...]

Making progress on the Trumpeter Spad

The pilot and canopy are set in place for the pictures, can't say I have enjoyed the build. Fiddly, and the instructions leave a lot to be desired, but so far I like how it is turning out.

Trumpeter 1:48 Scale SM-79 "Sparviero"

Not one of my favorite models to say the least. This one has been hanging out on the "Shelf of DOOM?" for more than a few years. Looking at it every once in a while, starting in on it...and then putting it back. Love the plane [...]

HMS Exeter 1/350 in progress.

Hms Exeter..1/350 Trumpeter...5 months work in the final stage...only missing ties and rigging...and it is finished...
