Scrappy Scooter! 1/72 Hobby Boss A-4E Skyhawk

OOB. If you’ve built the Hasegawa Scooter, this is pretty much the same but in 1/72. It’s just missing the deployed slats. Why won’t anyone do this?!?

Hispano HA-1109/1112 K.1L Tripala conversion for Tamiya 1/48 Bf 109

Just stumbled over this one on SBS-model website. They will be ready to send them out mid August! Great news for an 109aholic like me!

Evergreen Air and Space Museum, McMinnville, Oregon, USA

Greeting, iModelers. A week ago I road tripped down to McMinnville, Oregon with some friends to see the air and space museum. There is a modest but nevertheless impressive collection there of aircraft across the history of flight, from a [...]

Eduard 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf 109G 6 Late.

Hi there, I know, as if we're missing more '109s around here. But, for me, this one is special, my first motling attempt. I tried to be as close as possible to the manual and I'm happy with it. Hope you'll enjoy! This one was Oberleutnant [...]

Do217N2

This is the ID vacuform kit 1/32 nd scale. This as built over a 5 year period, and I really ran into an issue with the nacelles. I had tried to strengthen them with resin and they severely distorted. It took me about a year to work up [...]

Williams Brothers 1/48 Ford Flivver

Hi All, This is a delightful little kit. I added a lap belt, instrument bezels, some stretched sprue rigging for the tail and spark plug leads. You could probably do it in a weekend but I took a bit longer because as usual life got in the [...]

Yakovlev Yak-28-64, Anigrand 1/144

The Yakovlev Yak-28-64 is a truely exotic airplane. Designed in competition with the Sukhoi Su-15 Flagon, the protoype was difficult to fly and the project soon ended with only one plane ever flown. Few pictures can be found in the [...]

Airfix 1/48 Curtis H81-A3 (P-40B Tomahawk)

This is a nice kit but my problems started when I decided to put the Aires cockpit in it. It was not that great of an improvement to the kit parts and it was too wide. I sealed the fuselage and inserted it as a unit up through the wing [...]

Airfix 1/48 Spitfire F XIVe

It's a strange but interesting fact that the only "built for that specific powerplant" Spitfire to achieve a large production run was the Mk.I; while there were several other Marks specifically designed to make maximum benefit of [...]
