Building, painting and finishing scale aircraft models.
This is 1/32 Special Hobby Hawker Tempest Mk.V with the markings of SN222 JF-E "Le Grand Charles", from No.3 squadron, Fassberg, late April / early May 1945.
I have used Special Hobby Hawker Tempest Mk.V “Hi-Tech” [...]
This model kit is from an old mold of the Italeri Brand 1/48. During the assembly i had many lace problems. A lot of putty and sandpaper. The metallic paint is from AK , very delicate at the time of masking. Mediocre final result
This is a build of Col John Landers' famous 'Big Beautful Doll' with a bit of a twist - at the end of World War 2 he became commander of the 361st Fighter Group which had yellow noses and medium blue trim instead of the 78th Fighter [...]

16th Dokuritsu Hikotai, Japan, 1945.
Built from box. The kit is old but gold, not the decals though.
Photographed in photo box.

This is the Special Hobby T-2C Buckeye, done in a USN high-viz trainer scheme. This mixed-media kit has been around for a few years, so it is not new, however, it is still a good kit, if one puts in the effort to use the various features [...]
The world's first production helicopter came on the scene in 1942...Flettner came up with the same intermeshing blade design still in effect today...a radial engine sits behind the pilot with a transmission on the front from which a shaft [...]
I lived in southern CA and would see C-141Bs flying all the time (Norton AFB). In my opinion, it is a classic airplane.
Decided to tackle C-141 in 1/72 made of resin. I can't say this just fell together. I used two metal rods for strength [...]
