Another Tamiya kit at 1/48 scale (all my aircraft models are at the same scale...) It belongs to US Navy VF-17 Jolly Rogers at Pacific Theatre of Operations in 1944.
I was commissioned to build this and was given a colored plate showing the exact A/C he wanted. The plate described the P-80 as being with the 26th Fighter Interceptor Squadron at Kimpo Airfield, Korea in November of 1950.

this is the Hobby Boss F8F-1 straight from the box. A great build and I think the Hobby Boss kit is a wonderful kit of their aircraft. I used the kit decals and they represent an A/C of VF-3 flown by Lt A.M.Granat in 1946.
